From a lore perspective, the quest chain to obtain it was fun, and the final fight was interesting. Visually it looks amazing, and each spec's appearance is unique and enjoyable. I'd prefer if it was actually three separate mounts and not just one that reconfigures itself though. (Not as bad as DH or Monk who don't even get that.)I really enjoy the mage class mount as a ground mount. It looks a little odd flying because it tilts when you traverse along the Z-axis. You'd just fall off.

Good things mages have slowfall I guess. If the mount stayed horizontal like the discs you can ride in the second phase of the Malygos encounter it would have been better.Could also stand to be a little larger; it mattered more when my mage was a Draenei and not a Void Elf but. On Draenei the disc is tiny!

There's barely room for your character to stand. But then, every race uses their stealth idle animation while riding it, so Void/Blood elf females are kneeling and it looks like they're terrified of falling off:P. To be honest, the topic has been discussed far and wide on at least a dozen of similar threads.

The problem I have with it is that it's too small, both compared to the Pandaren flying disc and just in general. My troll looks like he's barely able to stand on it, I suppose most races except human and blood elf females have the same problem.Other than that, I'm not a fan of devs choosing for me which variant of a mount I can use based on my spec, I feel that is taking away from my customization choices as a player, but in general the disc is great and its fine that it was added, even if it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I was just reminding everyone that, before creating a new thread, it is wise to use the search tool. Expecially on 'polls' or threads like this one that ask about player's opinions: pretty often, you already have one that collected most of the general feeling when the topic was indeed hot and many of us actively participated on it and shared our thoughts. So there is plenty of room there to find what the OT was looking for. Good textures and animations.

The questing to unlock it, like said above, is great. But I definitely have my set of mounts I just use by default and this didn't end up in that group.
Once in a while I'll break it out again.I still think it would have been cool to mimic Khadgar's fantasy of the raven form-extract or copy it from his staff, or he bestows a version of it on us, and give some color variations to it. I've wanted that forever-since seeing it done in cinematics, etc. It just feels magical.Other than that, there's the dragon option like some mentioned. TBH, I think a magically constructed mount is a bit more unique for what mages are and do.
