I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in Veluca, and I've been involved in numerous castle sieges on the Kingdom of Swadia, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in siege warfare and I'm the top crossbowman in the entire Rhodok army.
You are nothing to me but just another opportunity to increase my crossbow proficiency. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before in Calradia, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over courier? I am contacting my network of castle lookouts across Calradia and your recent tracks are being traced right now so you better prepare for the glaivestorm, whelp. As a long time player of Warband and lurker of this subreddit I decided to finally post! So I was feeling creative and wanted to start writing again so I decided to make a short story revolving around my in-game character Edward Cliffwood who is a Swadian vassal and married to Lady Tidal.
I am not sure if this is allowed or not, but I felt like posting it and please give me your feed back or even suggestions how to improve my story telling. The story starts now:He wakes up groggily and tries to survey the field. All he sees are his close comrades, lads from villages that he had hired to form a mercenary band, being slaughtered. He was in pain his head was throbbing, his sides were ringing in pain and his chest now bore a hole thanks to a crossbow bolt.
He finally stood up and looked around to his left he saw Garvin. Garvin was the first lad he hired from the village of Azgad. Garvin was his closest friend and grew from a village recruit to a Swadian Knight. He was proud of Garvin, but. Played together with this Clan called Iron Legion on their Cracked Mount and Blade Warband server (I know pirating games is bad have bought all my games since then) back in 2010-2011 and even joined them. Tried to look them up recently because of some really good memories I have of that group of people and that clan. Sadly the clan broke up and the website (ironlegion.de) is deactiveated and the most recent activity that I could find about them is from 2015 or on a forum where registrating is no longer possible:.

Greetings warriors of Calradia! Some time has passed since we visited this year’s E3 expo, which has given us the chance to process our thoughts and reflect on our experience. We thought it would be a positive step to share this with you in the form of a new blog which you can read on our website – We hoped to have this out sooner for you all to enjoy, however we recently celebrated Eid al-Fitr here in Turkey which slowed the process down a little. The purpose of this thread is to gather your feedback regarding what we had to show at E3 2017 and how you feel we communicated the event to you.
We are particularly interested in your thoughts on the two new battle videos we shared and the new features we announced. For those of you that missed the announcement or videos, you can check them out on our website – We might not be able to respond directly to everything that is posted, however we can assure you that we will read every comment and take it o. In the E3 gameplay videos we see some cav sergeant gameplay - have taleworlds gone into this system any further? Can we have our own infantry 'squads' if we're infantry sergeants (I noticed in the first E3 video infantry groups marched in seperate formations, identified by flags)? Do we enlist as privates/footmen and work our way up the chain of command? Can we manage our own divisions or squads?I use the enlisted soldier system on one of my Floris characters alot and wondering how this pans out. Having my own unit of dudes I can command whilst not being in charge of the entire battle excites me. Apologies if this should be posted in the E3 thread or if it's been asked before.Submitted June 29, 2017 at 05:32AM by WarsongPunk http://ift.tt/2t4tDo2.
Maybe this is a dumb question, maybe not, I've only posted here once before so I don't know the kinds of reactions I'm going to get.For this character, I plan on being king of the land, after a long, long time. This means no raiding villages, releasing lords, etc., which means very little money. I've also been going with Swadia(who owns half the map now), and have mostly Men at Arms and Swadian Knights. Recently my character was married, and I was told to pay 16 thousand(HOLY SHIT?!?) and so I did, got married, and realized that I had to pay salary for my troops, which since then has gone up to about 4k. I usually make my money through Tournaments, since I've already invested 20k into two dyeworks, and that only gets me 800 a week, and the enemy goes out of their way to go deep into enemy territory, ignoring all other unraided villages, just to raid mine. I'm still paying 3 thousand denars, and the tournaments are now acting weird.
For some reason, there. Can't submit a new thread on desktop mode for mobile.I started out randomly having saw the recommendation on, enjoying the random fights and stuff (I won my first tournament yesterday).Questions: Does preferences matter for a faction? Saw a post that had nords and swadia recommendations. I don't really wanna pledge allegiance that early, but are there benefits/cons? Currently still low level (7) and roaming around Vaegirs. What do you get for completing the starting quest? Another one with no deadline?Read a bit on wiki and started to regret buying pork and chicken, since I currently enjoy travelling solo.Is it worth buying more than 1 horse for solo travelling?
What are good to train on (defeated Looters thus far)? Should I train up a crew asap or what?Have too many questions and really appreciate the tips!Submitted June 28, 2017 at 11:31PM by spareamint http://ift.tt/2trIiNg. I have spent a good amount of hours into the game with 3 reseted characters and i wanted to make some questions to decide what to do next:As i said, i'm a big fan of the Total War series, but do not worry, i will not compare both games after the next pointBackground: One of the first annoyances and negative experiences that i had with the game was the battles, i highly dislike the fact that both my units and the enemy instantly and brainlessly charges at each other with no consideration whatsoever! I know about commands and how to use them, but i'm talking about pre-battle preparations, things like who's charging first IF charging at all, who's attacking-who's defending, etc I don't think it should be as complex as Total War's system but it would be nice to have a small couple of options, even if the AI would somet. Hi, I'm a really noob player and was wondering how I can increase my army size. I searched and it said it had to do with renown, so I grinded from 200 to 316 renown but the company didn't increase.

So, I started a new game of Mount & Blade: Warband with Floris modpack. After fighting under King Harlaus for a few months, I decided to rebel after not being given a castle that I took.
My renown is close to 1000 and I'm in a good financial situation and have a pretty elite army that would win almost any siege so I haven't had any problems defending my little kingdom so far.My problem is that my right to rule is only around 30 and I haven't had any people visit my court yet that I could recruit. Where do I go from here? I read that you could send your companions out to spread the word and gather support but I haven't been able to find out how. Other than that I guess I can just hope that the other kingdoms will eventually make peace with me or just play the rest of the game in a constant war with everyone else.Submitted June 27, 2017 at 03:31AM by drainX http://ift.tt/2ubPAkb. Hey guys, I'm not sure why I'm having this problem.
I'm approaching 1000 hours in Warband itself and have played this mod many times. I built a new PC recently and downloaded the mod, put it all in the correct folders and launched it up only to find that on the character creation screen (the stats) I cannot click 'Done' as the Weapon Proficiencies are not upgradeable.
Is a low quality picture of my problem. Is the mod file from where I downloaded. Is the closest thing to helping I can find.I've disabled windows firewall and relaunched the game and still had the same problem. I've also deleted and reinstalled the mod twice and the problem continues to persist. If anyone has any ideas as to what may be causing the problem or how to fix, let me know. Thanks, JeffSubmitted June 26, 2017 at 01:57PM by 2FJeff http://ift.tt/2tc8Voh. Hey,I tried searching for more information about the maidens and courting, but the information is apparently very limited. I understand the different personalities and all that, but there are a few finer things that I couldn't figure out, so I hope you'll be able to help me with this.I am currently trying to marry a maiden with a combative/tomboyish personality, Lady Sonadel, daughter of Count Grainwad. I have a good relationship with the Count, so he mentioned his daughter himself, meaning I am allowed to court her. However, while I can already visit her privately, I still have to profess ma admiration, so the entire courting thing really can get started.
But when I do so, I lose two relation points with her, probably because of her personality type? At first, at relation 0, she was very cold to me and said something along the lines of 'if you will excuse me'.
After dedicating a tournament victory to her, I gained 4 relation and now she's a bit more friendly w. The delicate balance of Calradia is in peril.Recent political turmoil in the Kingdom of Nords over the constant change of leadership, inability to conquer new lands, and loss of their colony has spilled into diplomacy.A revolution is far from fantasy at this point, as the villages begin forming their own militias. All the while legendary warriors arriving from Jumne, rallying the people even more. The generals of the Nordic army know they must strike, and strike true, as they have one last chance to avoid another civil war.

They have just the perfect target in mind: Praven.Though the old city is heavily fortified, the Nords believe they will be able to triumph. The villages surrounding Praven have been sacked, any caravans to the city have been pillaged, and any patrols sent out have gone missing.Harlaus would most likely have not noticed this chaos, as he was coincidentally feasting inside Praven. Fortunately for the Nordic army, their bait worked, as after the Swadian king heard abou. Hey everyone! You've all been keen to share your thoughts and feelings on the way Taleworlds is (or isn't) releasing information about Bannerlord these past days, and that's good. I've seen, and. We've been filtering the worst of it out of the subreddit, as there's a point where the shit outweighs the post in the shitpost, but mostly we've let you guys unleash your fury.Moving forward, however: As some of you may have heard over the past few days, Taleworlds hired a new Community Manager, Callum.
He'll be working alongside Frank (aka, the old CM) to improve communication with the players. In response to the (deserved) reaction to Taleworlds' E3 presentation, Callum has agreed to join a feedback thread some time after E3. This means that at some point in the next week (maybe two), we'll host a thread where we expect constructive feedback and/or critical questions.
I looked for a Summer Sale megathread, but there's no official sequestration for us completely unskilled new players.I slowly went through the tutorial and learned the basics of the controls.except for what conditions you have to fill to get off the horse. How do I reliably get off a horse? Then I started the campaign. You start off in a dead end alley armed with a crossbow and a shield but no weapon. It took five tries to punch this motherfucker to death.I get him, but he smashes my shield. I try to pick up his weapon, and my guy puts his crossbow on the ground, then his bolts, then picks up the shield and puts down the mace I just tried to pick up.
Before I can figure out how to loot, the fucking merchant shows up and makes me leave everything on the ground. How do you pick up items without dropping your equipment? This is supposed to be an awesome game, but it is all frustration and design choices I cannot fathom so far and I'm not two minutes into actual gameplay! I have been trying Sayazn for a little bit, I haven't played much in it, mostly doing my Brytenwalda run. But I figured that since it seems to be a lesser known mod, I should open a thread about it to discuss it with those who do/have play/ed it.tl;dr, it's a fictional setting, which has a tech level comparable to the Ancien Regime going into the Napoleonic Era, and in fact units advance, although I'm not sure exactly how as I've not gotten that far.The castles are extremely hard to raid as they've got that star-shaped build that was built to maximize the defenders' capabilities.Arena fights are borked, so don't try to do it, you'll spawn in the wall and the game will freeze. Units are all unique and interesting.Edit: It's going to get a huge update within a week's time, according to the maker of the mod!Submitted June 25, 2017 at 09:34AM by FSMhelpusall http://ift.tt/2s5Hn4J. We have mods i know, but any roleplays/self induce rules you want to share? Some rules that im using. Perma death - when you are captured you are dead 'dead'.
If you are confident you can even say knock out is dead(or have a 5 knock outs - dead, or toss a coin/role a dice dead). Not having a perma death option seems unrealistic for a heavy roleplay game thru.Only recruit on villages with + relation with you.
And or only recruit on your own villages. I know you can recruit with 0 relation, my point is to stop you from having OPed army(made of the best cavalry, infantry, range units) while your AI's army have farmers.Submitted June 24, 2017 at 05:37PM by Rideit88 http://ift.tt/2sOg7EN. For example, if he calls for me for a campaign and I don't meet him, will I fail the quest and anger some of my companions? I decided to give Gekokujo a try today and the first thing I noticed is that the AI in battle seems significantly more intelligent than native or really anything else I've played.I joined up as a Samurai for my local lord to make some cash and get some combat experience before raising my own merry band and in the first battle my jaw dropped at what these AI were doing. We were slightly outnumbered so our Lord pulled us back up onto a hill, placed his archers forward and spread them out with spears behind. The archers picked off the enemy as the charged up the hill and when they were about 50 meters out, the archers ran back and the spearmen moved forward. Not a charge mind you, they literally swapped spots with the archers. They held position until the last second and charged into the enemy line. Now, I was wounded so I fell in battle from an arrow while defending my Lord from a spearman trying his best to unhorse him so I had a pretty good view of the flanking party the enemy lord. I got my own kingdom at that moment, with 5-6 towns and many more castles. I personally own only 1 town(as a court). I also have productive enterprise in every town.
So, my weekly revenue is about 10-15k depends on how many units in the garrison and how many currently with me in the party. I have in my hands like 120-140k, top equipment that merchants have, and all my 8 companions have the same. So, is that a moment in the game when money become useless?Submitted June 22, 2017 at 12:16PM by PavelGatilov http://ift.tt/2tTnnyH. How To Make Peace In Mount And Blade Warband
I've just felt bad as I want to play the game but I also don't want to play it as I know I'll res. I mean, they've shown us the combat and even demo-ed it in this year's E3 (which I think is great, since feedback will come in mass if needed), but how much do we really know about the roleplaying aspects of the game?Let's be honest, they've shown us very little other than taverns, streets, and alleys.
But what does that say? We know there'll be board games so maybe you can play with some lord all while plotting to move up the ladder, so to speak, in your faction, together. But what else?
I'm really concerned that they've prioritised combat elements (which isn't bad in itself - quite the opposite in fact) and have neglected everything else outside of it.I wanna be able to make truly effective political marriages that would end wars during negotiations, or even have my vassal (if I'm a monarch) take a bride of the enemy faction for peace's sake and have the vassal react in varying ways dependent on his personality.I want to undermine my. I've gotten to the point where I know the perfect army composition to destroy everyone in the field and in sieges, and I am unstoppable in combat mounted or dismounted - having mastered the combat system.I tried busting out a new game yesterday after a couple months break from my last conquest and I actually got bored pretty early on. It just feels like the challenge is gone and I've done everything there is to do. TL:DR: Freelancer Longbows are the most cost-efficient bowmen in the game, beating all non-special bows at a fraction of the cost. Of the special bowmen, Nightswatch Longbows may be better, however each variant has a perk (armour for Karhold, movespeed, cost & recruitability, and damage/speed for Raventree).
Raventree Archers have the highest dismounted runspeed of any troop in the game, so with the 'Avoid Melee' special command from Tactics they will be able to avoid melee confrontation with all dismounted infantry. As a brief pre-cursor, Vale Crossbowmen are considered to be top tier for ranged, with extremely high armour and good melee fighting capacity mixed with a heavy crossbow and high weapon skill, at a low cost of $36. However, Crossbowmen do not benefit from the Power Draw buff and have an attack speed of generally half so will never compete with Bows for ranged killing power. The idea behind Crossbowmen is that they are heavily armoured and have a decent melee lo. (I don't just play native multiplayer, I play many multiplayer mods)Submitted June 20, 2017 at 11:50AM by WinkleTwinkle1 http://ift.tt/2toHt4d. I'm Uther, in cRPG on forums I'm Uthyr Pendraeg and in game, my name is StromgardeUthyrPendraeg. I'm head of the admins and part of my job is managing the community, while people with actual skills work on making the mod work.I'm making this post mostly in order to announce that what was once dead is now once again alive, for how long? We don't know, hopefully longer than we imagine! Some of you may have heard of it, some of you maybe played it and hated it/the community/the badmins/whatever, well, things are changing. CRPG is a multiplayer mod for Warband, with servers for EU, NA, China (current highest population!). Our selling point is having persistent characters; large quantity of items from different cultures and eras; an interesting clan system, complete with bank for your clan monies, armory for item sharing between clanmates and all that jazz, and an ability to upgrade your items with heirloom points, which you could claim whenever you reached level.
