World Of Warcraft Not Full Screen Tv
It's nothing to do with the actual rendering of the game as such, it's perfectly crisp and clear when running in Window mode. This is a Surround scaling problem when running the game in fullscreen mode. The problem is that I can't take screenshots to demonstrate this because the screenshots do not show the blur. Whatever is causing this blur it's happening after the frames have been rendered by the GPU.All I can do is take a photograph of the screen and that doesn't really reveal the intensity of the problem. So these two images are with my camera on a tripod pointed at the screen. I've tried to keep the conditions exactly the same.First image is clear and crisp when running the game in window mode.
The second image is the same view in fullscreen. Both are 1920x1080. Diablo 2 the summoner pc.
Look at the text and the image of the owl. It looks much worse in reality than these images but you can see how there is definitely some problem here.Window Mode - clear and crispFullscreen Mode - blurred. Click to expand.I've tried the game with MSAA set to off (1x), I've also tried forcing FXAA on and off. No improvement there either.Besides, I'm not changing any settings between DX9 and DX11 nor between DX11 window/fullscreen modes yet it's blurred when fullscreen DX11 with the same settings as DX9 or window mode.I don't believe this is a rendering issue. If I take a screenshot it looks normal (no blurring).
I have to take a photo with a camera pointed at the screen to show you guys what it looks like.I believe this is somehow a problem with nVIDIA Surround or WoW scaling the game onto the central monitor when it's run in 1920x1080 (the native resolution of one screen). Other games behave in the same way without any problems.
Only World of Warcraft is causing this blurring.
