When The Sims 4 Get To Work was first released well over a year ago, numerous reviewers (including us) reported that the game’s retail system simply.ModTheSims user scrums, invariably known as Judy, has released a new mod pack that adds new interactions and tweaks to the retail system to make it run more effectively and realistic. The enhancement pack contains three individual mods.Purchase Intent:It sets purchase intent amount to 65 – replacing the staggered amounts and is independent of mark-up. My testing has resulted in 1 to 5 customers choosing to buy at any one time at 50% mark-up without any sales chat. Personally, I find the idea of sales people in a bakery a tad unrealisticNo Dirty Retail:It sets the statisticchange to 0 so retail shelves will never get dirty.Retail Palm:This is a clone of the base game’s potted palm plant decoration. It can be found in Decoration – Plants next to the original. This plant has its own custom tuning and two interactions:Close and Restock – the store is closed (if open) and the selected sim starts automatically restocking a minute or so after the interaction is cancelled in their queue. Using the action when the store is closed will still start the sim restocking. The sim is given the buffAutonomyModRetailEmployeeRestock buff.Ring up customers – available when the store is open, The selected sim will concentrate on ringing up customers. The sim is given the buffAutonomyModRetailEmployeeRingUpCustomers buff and the buffAutonomyModRetailEmployeeRestock buff is removed.
Additionally the sim will not chat or smell food when ringing upWith these mods installed, the customers that visit your bakeries will select and purchase goods almost immediately; then be rung up by a cashier quickly and without interruption. The game’s retail system will finally work more like real life – that thing these games are supposed to simulate. The mods are available for download from.
Are you interested in making mad simolians or just having fun?Themed stores can be really fun.I did like my painting store, but it was a lot of work as I only restocked the paintings that I LOVED and repainted the 10+ paintings that I needed for the shop before opening.A toy store is cute, I did a carpet/rug store once, and there is always a 'flower shop' (wish this could be expanded on to where you could grow flowers and arrange them!)I didn't find clothing to be very entertaining, but that might just be me. I also did an 'ugly' shop where I sold the dumbest clutter and horrible paintings/sculptures, this can also expand into a thrift store/charity shop where you sell 'found' or 'donated' items. (think collectibles or garbage finds)You could do a 'sports store', or a camping shop. This one is fun because you can have grills and fires that are just for the customers.Furniture store? The Pool supply store?
May 29, 2016 Owning a retail store in The Sims 4 is so much fun! Whether you’re selling huge flat screen televisions or small baked goods, your Sims can soon start earning lots of simoleons. But I always wanted the option of my Sims being able to live and work on the same lot. Today, I will show. You can choose certain Sims to be your Employees even Sims from your own Household. You need to give Sims you want to show in the Hire Employee Menu a hidden Trait via the new Retail Store Register Pie Menu. The Sims need to be without a Career because they get the Retail Career then!
Maybe an improvised IKEA!Good luck and let us know what you come up with!EDIT: if you want tips on how to make your employees awesome LMK. OK, here is my answer:You have to actively manage your employees. When they are fully trained and very satisfied, they will sell, clean, and ring up customers. You will need to level them up in the 3 skill areas, and keep them happy with their work and with you. Start by having them work on selling for as many days as it takes to raise that bar all the way.You will need to praise them when they arrive at work, after assigning them a task. Once per day, if you catch them slacking, you can 'berate for slacking' Then around the 7 hour mark, praise them again. Let them 'clock out early' after 8 hours if they don't leave on their own.Once they level all the way up, in sales, promote them.Repeat this for all of the skills until they have maxed them, and they are 'very satisfied' with the job. At this point you can easily ask them to ring customers, and they will be good at it.There is a thorough.Good luck!
