I have found there is a compatibility mixup with the preinstalled copy of office and our business version.when you look at available programs from the start menu you will notice there are two version of access, excel, onenote, outlook, powerpoint, and wordi can right click each one (that doesnt have the 2016) and click uninstall but is there a more efficient way? I looked under programs but it is not listedthe reason being i have found when a user tries to edit the signature it freeze up outlook then they have to use task manager to close it out.

DYRyet is correct. In the settings (not control panel!) apps and features you will see Microsoft Desktop Apps. Note that it does NOT have the normal Office logo, more a generic one. This must be uninstalled before putting on a full version of Office. It drove us batty for a few weeks because we could not figure out where those icons were coming from.
They were messing with our full Office version installs. Under the Control Panel the install doesn't show (who the hell does that?). It's been annoying, but we know to look for it now. Happy hunting!
