Content that breaks the spirit of these rules may be removed at moderator discretion. It’s not really a problem with bugs, I just don’t think the mod works very well in the WW1 setting. For example, in the 1910 or 1914 start, the stalemate on the Western front starts WAY too early.
In real life, the stalemate in the west didn’t start until the Battle of the Marne, but in Endsieg, Belgium seems like it’s more than capable of delaying the German army for months/years by itself. In reality the Germans moved through Belgium/northern France very quickly.Russia also seems to be too weak. They fall apart way too fast and I usually get the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in early 1915. Even when I don’t try to actively invade Russia, Austria-Hungary usually holds them off by themselves.I get that it’s probably hard to model a war of maneuver grinding into a stalemate after a few months in HOI4, but right now the stalemate starts immediately.

I’m not really sure how to fix it though. I’ve noticed that the soft attack stats were reduced and the defense stats were all buffed, but maybe instead of doing that, they could have decent soft attack, but make trenches faster to build(like 2-3 hours), and maybe give France an event early in the war that gives them trenches along the Marne. Idk if that would fix it but I think it would be better than the instant stalemate at the Belgian border.Also this is just my opinion, but I’m not a huge fan of the focus trees/tech trees in Endsieg, especially when I’m in the 1910 start.
